The combination offers a more developed construction than a single spring unit alone. The build contains 1000 full-size pocket springs and 2000 smaller tablet springs. The main springs provide underlying support, while the tablet layer adds a finer response closer to the sleeping surface. A wool, silk and cashmere blend sits beneath the soft-touch ecru cover. Rebound polycotton and dual-density polyester add cushioning beneath the blend, with further polyester padding below the main spring unit. Wool helps insulate in winter and manage heat and moisture in summer. It absorbs and releases moisture vapour to help reduce a clammy feel. A frame and additional side supports reinforce the main pocket spring unit. Eight border vents allow air to move through the mattress, helping heat and moisture escape. Four handles provide a convenient grip when adjusting its position on the bed. The mattress is hand tufted to help hold the fillings securely in place. Supplied flat for delivery.
