The shape of the shades is inspired by space-age interiors of the 60s. They're adjustable so they're stylish and versatile too. More than a design feature, the stems on the top of the shades allow you to safely change the direction of the light even when it's on. It gives off directional light so it's great for your study or bedside. Just swivel the light up, down or to the side, or make adjustments to the angle. It has two lights so it has two uses at once. You can angle one light down for reading, and the other one at the wall when you want a bit of ambient lighting.
