Leather stretches, softens and settles with use. When you sit on a new leather sofa or chair its normal for the leather to puddle slightly due to initial stretching. A simple smoothing of the leather across the top of the seat cushion if this occurs keeps your sofa or chair looking good. Interiors settle over time so, to maximise comfort, please plump the seat and back cushions regularly, and where possible turn and rotate to ensure even wear. Wipe leather upholstery with a damp cloth, and please use only the recommended cleaning products. If your sofa or chair is a recliner model, please allow time for the recliner to settle. Minor gaps are necessary for ease of motion, and vary depending on floor type. Manual recliners can feel a little stiff at first, but the motion eases with use.
