Ercol Romana Medium Extending Dining Table Dead Matt Oak 6-8 Seater

To create the simple yet sharp look of the Romana, Ercol have not looked to futuristic manufacturing techniques but instead relied on the attention to detail that has become a trademark of their wood workshops.Built from natural Oak that is covered in a soft matt lacquer, the craftsmanship of this extending dining table is a thing of beauty with angled joinery and chamfers offset by elegant curved edging along the sides and corners.Hidden beneath the two large panels that make up this tables solid wooden top, a butterfly mechanism enables an additional Oak extending leaf to fold out providing space for additional guests. The reciprocating mechanism allows for effortless operation – pull on one end to extend and the other end opens at the same time – while small rounded joints on each panel ensure that the table is securely locked into placed preventing any chance of an uneven dining surface.
