Solidly structured from American oak, the iconic 1950s look of this piece is accentuated by classically styled recessed panelling on the sides with a soft veneer. Two wide drawers and a raised platform at the back of the desk have been beautifully crafted to provide ample storage and work space with expert hand joinery and softly curved edging throughout Paying homage to the pioneering use of manufactured elements within modernist design, the bent tubular form of the legs and period style spindle handles provide an industrial feel.
