The yarn is space dyed by knotting the hanks before dyeing to create varying tones in the dyed yarn. This in turn makes each rug unique and gives vibrancy to the rug. The 3. D effect is created through two different techniques, the background is made up of dense looped wool and the design is created by a higher cut pile in space dyed viscose silk.
