Mimicking the Indonesian decorative technique of tie-dyeing before weaving, Ikat uses ingenious weaving techniques to create soft and hard lines. The squares of graphic lines are typical of a Beatrice Larkin design and are offset by a new technique we have not see from her before, to create the softer shapes to appear like Ikat.
